Strategic Plan Measure: % of students reporting they feel safe, welcome , and accepted at school.
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely):
Strategic Plan Strategy: 98% of students in grades four and five will report that they feel safe, welcome, and accepted at school based on the end of year district student survey.
- Action: Implement Calming Corners in all learning spaces.
- Action: Provide Restorative Practices Professional Development.
- Action: Implement walkie talkie codes: Code 1, Code 2, Code 3 and purchase walkie talkies for all staff.
- Action: The BHW team meets with teams once per month to follow up on BHW tickets and support.

Strategic Plan Outcome: All students demonstrate progress towards, and achievement, of the standards
Strategic Plan Measure: % of students in grade 3-8 demonstrating proficiency on the state ELA test
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): 75% of students in grades 3-5 will demonstrate proficiency on the state ELA test based on the OSAS assessment (increasing from 67% in 22-23).
Strategic Plan Strategy: Semester 1 Progress Report marks for writing.
- Action: We will calibrate writing scores three times this year, using different genres (informational, narrative, and opinion).
- Action: Teams will collaborate to determine instructional strategies to move students through the writing progression.
